US Income / US REIT Preferreds
The primary objective of the strategy is to provide high current income by purchasing real estate securities that offer a stable current yield, have low price volatility and are priced inexpensively. The secondary objective of the strategy is to provide capital appreciation. The strategy’s investments focus on common equities, preferred equities and debt securities of REITs, REOCs and other companies principally engaged in real estate businesses and real estate investments. By diversifying across the capital structure, this hybrid investment strategy materially lowers a portfolio’s volatility, while providing a similar return profile to commercial private real estate.
